Richard Lloyd Morgan helps to run services in the Chapel and does pastoral work with the College community. He was ordained into the Church of England in 1997, is an opera singer by training and has also worked as a model.

King's College was founded in 1441 by King Henry VI, who laid the foundation stone for the Chapel in 1446. It then took about 100 years to complete with funds from five kings of England. The Chapel is probably Cambridge's best known building, however, its purpose is to provide a place of worship and prayer for the members of King's College and their guests. There are some 18 services a week, seven being sung by the Choir and one by King's Voices, the College's mixed voice choir.
