''The main mistake that you can make with gardening is to think that you've finished.''

Paul Gallant has been at Selwyn College for six years. The College has four gardeners who tend a garden that is approximately 10 hectares including buildings.

Selwyn College is named after George Selwyn, who was the first Bishop of New Zealand (1841-68) and later Bishop of Lichfield (1868-78). The College sits on land, which was considered to be on the outskirts of Cambridge when the College was first built.

The College has 360 undergraduates, 130 postgraduates and 60 Fellows.
