Lucy Wheatley was doing a PhD in developmental biology in the Department of Genetics and a member of Trinity Hall.

The Polo Club was established in 1873 and is regarded as one of the oldest polo clubs in Europe. There are about 40 student members of the club and seven ponies. Prince Charles was a member of the club when he attended Cambridge.
