Tom Edwards is a medical doctor and a Cambridge Blue in rowing. He came to the University in 2004 to study for a PhD at the Cambridge Institute of Medical Research and at Gonville and Caius. In 2006 he was President of the Cambridge University Boat Club.
The Hawks' Club was established in 1872 as a University-wide sports club. Membership of the club is usually restricted to people with blues or half-blues and election to membership is in the hands of a small committee.
